Christians pray because they believe God answers prayers.
But then something universal happens.
Typically one of 3 things happens:
1. They are too embarrassed to admit this.
After a few minutes of prayers they run out of things to say. They go silent.
Often, they wonder how someone can pray for longer than 2 minutes.
2. They pray, pray, pray - no answer.
If you have been praying without being taught how, you will most certainly face this problem.
You could be praying amiss. Your prayers are not targeted at all. It is like firing a gun
without aiming at anything. You are just hoping it hits something.
3. They get discouraged after a while and stop. I don’t blame you for getting discouraged.
I would be too, especially since no one seems able to explain why some pray and receive answers
while YOU pray and nothing happens most of the time.
Now these are things I see every single day.
But there are exceptions.
And they result in powerful testimonies.
