[NEXT] She Prayed The Prayers While Drunk? Please Don't Laugh

Published: Tue, 01/12/21

As the prayer winds down today...

Testimonies have been pouring in to the glory of God.

There's one just posted to the Members' Forum that made me smile.

Before I show it to you let me just say congratulations for joining us at the gates.

The LORD knows your needs!

We are seeing so many testimonies of new jobs.

Grace writes:

Giving thanks to Jehovah jireh, I applied for a job last year..
On Friday I went in for an interview and was told they'd get back to me in a week but God of wonders
caused the director to call me Saturday night and offer me the position, glory to God most high!

Ever since I finished school ten years ago, this is my first legit job.
Before I joined the PA, no one ever called me for any interview, after joining PA last year in Feb,
I started getting short term contracts! And now.. I've been offered a great position in this organisation.

Glory glory glory to God! I seal it in the blood of Jesus!

Christine says:

I am grateful for these prayers and Firesprings prayer programs.
Surely God knows it all and He has already gone ahead of us.

During the prayers each time I had a dream, prayer points on how to tackle it
were provided for in the prayers for the next day!

I would like to testify about God's faithfulness. God has offered me profitable employment!!!
After a year of an employment. God has remembered me. I cover my testimony in the blood of Jesus Christ!!

And now to the one who prayed while drunk (bringing her addiction to a swift end).

Eagle M writes:

Praise the Lord, my elder sister who was not talking to me and was
abusing alcohol is now talking tò me and hasn't touched alcohol since we stormed the gates together.

Our God also exposed the source of our problems.

My sister prayed her prayers drunk and today she won't touch alcohol.

Peace is restored in our home.

Praise the LORD.

That last one is so beautiful.

Reminds me of the story of a great Christian missionary.

300 years ago there was a young American missionary named David Brainerd.

Brainerd did his greatest work by prayer.

He was in the depths of the forests alone, unable to speak the language of the Native Indians.

But he spent whole days in prayer, praying simply that the power of the Holy Ghost might come upon him
so greatly that the Indians would not be able to refuse the Gospel message.

Once he preached through a drunken interpreter, a man so intoxicated that he could hardly stand up.

Yet scores were converted through that sermon.

That was the power of the Holy Spirit manifested as a result of the prayer of this man.

Today God is doing amazing things.

In the 24-Hour Eagles' Forum we're entering into a QUIET PERIOD ...

... but one marked by this.

JJ N puts it best.

She says:

I am so excited to have participated fully in the 27 minutes to midnight prayers and i have faith that God is taking me to the next level!

I am destined for the next level. I feel refreshed and energized and ready to go on a riot of thanksgiving.

God is in control of my 2021. Now i know why David danced until his clothes fell off :)

That's it ... a Thanksgiving Riot!

That's what we should all be doing at the conclusion of this powerful program.

Bible says:

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.

- Ps 33:1-3

Once again...

Congratulations for standing in the gap for the Church, your community, and your nation.

In due season you will reap the reward.
