Husband Threatens to Divorce Wife for Praying Elisha's Prayers

Published: Mon, 11/19/18

She writes:

"My husband hates spiritual things with perfect hatred.
I told my parents that I can give up any other things but
I can’t stop praying and I cannot also pray the way my husband
wants me to.

I already gave up going to church for his sake and now quit praying!
That has been my fight for the past 5 years! I am getting nasty threats
every day e.g divorce, silent treatment."

Now compare that with the post I just saw in the Forum.

First, a bit of context.

Last week I asked everyone in the Platinum Forum to share
the week's prayers with 5 of their friends and family members.

Eagle L shared with her niece,
who was going through marital distress.

She prayed as instructed and within 48 hours,
her husband dropped all plans for divorce.

This is a praise report from my niece. She is one of the five people
I shared the prayers with. They were having problems with her husband
and on last Saturday they had a huge fight so much that the husband
had said to her pack your bags and go.

Then on Monday she started on week 3 prayers, she said that she
passionately did the repentance prayers. On the same day her husband
came back home,so nice and so loving. The husband had called me on
Sunday morning insisting to come to my home since I am her aunt, little
did I know that he was bringing back my niece, to divorce her.

My niece is coming from my home just now now testifying
that auntie thank you so much for those prayers, they really work.
Actually she came with her husband and she told me that whilst they
were coming, her husband was saying I don't even have anything to
complain to aunt, I don't know why I called her,but since I called we just
have to go.

She said in so many years, her husband called her sweetie and he said
"my wife I love you". She said auntie never stop giving me those prayers,
they really do work. I just want to seal her testimony with the blood of
JESUS and give God all the glory.

Praise the LORD.

Now, whose report will you believe?

- that of the husband who wants his wife to stop these prayers

OR

- that of the niece whose husband is now whispering sweetly
to her, who not so long ago was being threatened with divorce?

Elijah once asked:

"How long will you waver between two opinions?

if you want prayers to deal with stubborn problems...
