What terrible thing could have happened for her to develop this attitude?

Did she fall into one of those marriages made in hell?

She says:

I never want to get married ever again, man lie too much, god doesn't do what man do.. god loves us and me more than anyone. I don't need a man, I don't want to get married ever again. I rather raise a family on my own with god by becoming a foster parent but I refuse to ever get married again. Man lie, cheat, steal, rob, cause wars and the list goes on and on. No, all I need is god. I refuse to date, have anything to do with man in general unless I have to work with them, church or school but other than that I want to be left alone. I don't need a man, I don't need to get married as society wants me to think. Men and man are headaches, I don't need the drama, I forgive them all but I want nothing to do with them ever again. No I am done, I'm tired of the headache, drama, heartache that men and man cause. I rather be married to the God, after all he is my everything..I don't have sex outside of marriage or in my heart. I want NOTHING to do with marriage no. God is my everything what do I need a physical marriage for?

I respect her decision.

However I do NOT agree with her.

Marriage is God's idea, not man's idea. 

Not society's idea as she seems to think.

Does marriage have its headaches? Of course.

But the world has made such a caricature of the marriage institution that you can understand
why the writer feels that way.
