Yesterday's email with that title
really stirred the hornet's nest.
One subscriber asked:
"What is your feedback for this people who do everything
and still hold on but still no testimony?"
Another confessed:
"I share the sentiments of the lady who feels like God is mocking
her. I expected results within the 21 days of prayer & fasting
and that's when I lost a multi million shilling contract and my
financial situation took a nose dive!"
Yet another wondered why my answer was so blunt.
To which I replied:
"My response is always blunt because ... it is meant
to shock, to disturb, to wake people from their sleep"
Then I added this (for good measure):

You expected God to answer you simply because
you prayed and fasted?
You are mistaken. God is under NO obligation to answer you
AT YOUR OWN TIME.
Your attitude is all wrong -- and HE sees that.
You need to repent.

I teach that the Christian life is NOT as
rosy as it is sometimes made out to be.
You could pray for years without any visible signs
of an answer...
BECAUSE the Lord wants to deal with your fleshly,

carnal nature first before He can release the blessings.
And without having the spirit of discernment you wouldn't
know this is the case, would you?
In yesterday's email Betty mentioned her one key to victory -

Did anyone notice that part?
In our programs on the site we stress that you need to pray
for this one gift until you receive it. Even if it takes you years.
It is well worth it in the end.
FIRST take your eyes off the material things.
Ask for the gift of discernment -- not finances, not spouse, not job!
Once you receive this, you will be able to know why your prayers
are "not being answered." And be able to do something about it.

THEN consider what would have happened if I had quit
when I didn't have any testimonies for years and years.
Please say this with me:
"I will not be bought off."
"I will not sell out."
"I will not quit...
in the name of Jesus"
