"I always wondered what happened to you"

Published: Sun, 07/05/15

A cautionary tale this one...

As I prepare for a short trip to
Miami, news about that city seems to
jump out at me from nowhere.

Like this one from Sky News.

There's a spiritual lesson here
(I'll tell you about it in a moment)

Here's goes --

"Friends Reunited! Judge Meets Old Pal In Dock"

A burglary suspect broke down in tears in the dock
when the judge recognised him as a former schoolmate
and said he had been the "best kid" in school.

Arthur Booth appeared in front of judge Mindy Glazer
at Miami-Dade bond court charged with burglary.

Booth, 49, was arrested on Monday after being spotted
driving a car that matched the description of one allegedly
involved in a robbery and failing to stop after a police
officer signalled him to.

A police chase followed, resulting in two accidents
before he crashed the car.

He fled on foot but was eventually caught and charged
with various offences.

When he was taken into court, the judge looked at him
for a moment or two and then asked:

"Did you go to Nautilus?"

"Oh my goodness," replied Booth several times, at first
with smiles and then breaking down in tears.

"I'm sorry to see you here," replied Judge Glazer.
"I always wondered what happened to you."

"This was the nicest kid in middle school," she told
the court. "He was the best kid in middle school. I used
to play football with him, all the kids,
and look what has happened."

"What's sad is how old we've become," she continued
before finishing the conversation with: "Good luck to you,
sir, I hope you are able to come out of this OK and just
lead a lawful life."

The judge set Booth's bond at $43,000 (£27,500).

What happened here?

This man's destiny has been diverted...
and converted to rags.

By the enemy ... with his ACTIVE cooperation.

Please close your eyes and take this prayer:

"My destiny will NOT be converted to rags in Jesus name"

There is something at play here.

Once the best kid in school...
but look how he ended up.

Question for you:

How many bright kids do you know...
who fell by the wayside?

Prov. 22:6 says:

Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I have no idea whether, as a child, this fellow
was ever trained in the way of the Lord.

Let's leave him for a second.

Think about your children (if you have any),
your siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, etc.

One of the best things you can do for them
is to encourage them to learn how to pray for
themselves... as a matter of urgency.

You can make the tools and teachings available
to them.

BECAUSE in today's world, not many people will
bother to show them how to do this for themselves.

YET it is so crucial to success.

That's why I'm always thrilled when I receive
emails like this one:

===

"God bless the day my mother introduced me to
Brother Elisha. Now I'm able to pray the right way
and I know how to fight my enemies through prayer.
I'm now able to fight attacks even in my dreams."

I received this email in the last 24 hours.

When I checked I found that the mother Alice invited
her and 4 others using the Tell-A-Friend page
on our website here:

http://firesprings.com/contact3.htm

She sent her the invite 8 months ago
and today this young lady is an overcomer.

By that invitation, she may just have snatched
her from the mouth of destiny diverters, who sometimes
like to masquerade as ministers of the gospel but..

... Inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

Other ACTIVE members on this site have
even gone a step further...

To sign up their family members and friends
to the Prayer Academy, Gold Edition, Singles prayers, etc.

In my opinion, that singular act should qualify as one
of the BEST investments you can ever make in the
life of your children and loved ones.

But don't just take my word for it.

Please see it for yourself here

children and loved ones do not end up like the poor fellow in this story.
