Think about this.

Who was holding sway in your family lineage 4 to 10 generations ago?

Chances are, if there were no spiritual giants like -

- John Wesley (England)
- Martin Luther (Germany)
- Apostle Babalola (Nigeria)...

... you can be sure there were strong, powerful people of a different stripe ...

... whose means of achieving prominence, wealth, power
almost always involved getting into agreements and blood
covenants with dark powers (one big clue is the family name).

These are essentially covenants of death.

And they continue to be binding from generation to generation until someone (in your bloodline) with enough spiritual wisdom and firepower comes along to terminate them.

About those who trusted in such evil arrangements, Isa 28:18 says this:

"And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it."

Many Christians walking around today have evil contracts, agreements and covenants hidden away in the foundation of their lives.

This keeps the enemy empowered... and gives them legal grounds to steal, kill and destroy every good thing that comes their way.

For instance, someone posted in the Sapphire Forum:

"My mum and dad divorced way back when we were young. Today my mum called me to say she had a dream and in the dream she found herself back at my father's ancestral home and she was standing at the graveyard and counting the cemented graves of all those who had been buried there.

I don't know what that dream means but i know it's not good at all. In real life, my dad and his siblings passed away one after another in mysterious ways. Rumour has it that my paternal grandmother was cursed to bury all her children
and the truth is, they are dying one by one. Only two boys are remaining out of the ten."

What to do?

You start by repenting in a targeted, focused manner, for the grievous sins of making covenants with the powers of darkness -- on behalf of your family.

This is huge.

Let me repeat:

The solution to this is:

TARGETED, FOCUSED REPENTANCE.

Not general repentance (see Daniel chapter 9).

The evil agreements, promises and oaths made, no matter how long ago, violate God's spiritual laws, but nevertheless could still be binding on members of that family lineage, unless and until specifically called out and repented of.

By repenting specifically of those sins, you are shutting the evil doorways but at the same time opening the gates of righteousness and inviting the LORD to arise and terminate the evil assignment against your life...

... and your generations going forward.

Here's the mistake everyone is making these days:

They try to challenge these powers when repentance has NOT yet happened.

Unknown to them, you cannot go after these entities and be victorious when in your bloodline the gates, doors and portals are still wide open.

What keeps them open?

Lack of DEEP repentance.
