There is a rare kind of prayer that ...

... advertises the overwhelming power of God.

A great case in the Bible is ...

... the prayer Elijah prayed at Mount Carmel.

And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.

Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.

- 1 Kings 18:36-37.

We all know what happened after that 18-second prayer.

A few years ago my childhood friend observed a peculiar problem.

A successful tech entrepreneur, he would sometimes take his prayer warrior wife to business meetings.

But most of his business partners were visibly uncomfortable anytime his wife showed up.

He observed the pattern for a while and decided to ask my opinion.

I told him to mark those who reacted that way and avoid doing any type of business with them.

I added:

"Your wife has the gift of discernment of spirits.

That's what the demons inside your business friends are reacting to.

If you go into serious business with them, you will lose you investments.

On the other hand, observe and work only with those who are very comfortable in her presence."

Initially he didn't take me seriously.

After repeated losses he reluctantly decided to try out my suggestion.

Much to his surprise, his business took off.

No more losses.

But that was not the end of the story.

The enemy was angry.

My friend's wife came under heavy spiritual attack.

In panic he called me one night.

The prayer I shared with him goes like this:

Arrow of God
arise by fire
locate her pursuers
strike ****  ****

That prayer has a sing-song quality to it.

It is a kill-shot prayer of advertisement.
