Years ago ...

when I used to accept invitations to lead prayer in a few churches around town I would sometimes call a prayer ...

... only to be met with dead silence.

They would open their eyes and look at me quizzically.

That was usually the signal to open the Bible and show where in the scripture the prayer came from. 

(For instance, the prayer at the top of this page is pure dynamite -- can you tell where it came from?)

Recently, a message came in that reminded me of those good old days.

Hello Elisha, 
My toddler is asleep now so I'm up writing this. I'd like to share a testimony. In 2019, when my toddler was just 6 months old, he had a spiking temperature.

The wet face towel kept drying up fast and we had to keep wetting it. We brought him to the clinic to have his blood slide checked and it turned out negative. His ears were checked and they were okay.

Nurses then gave antibiotics, but I decided not to give it to him. I had read something somewhere that was written by you.

This was how the prayer bullet went...

"You dragon breathing fire onto.......(my baby), die, die, die in Jesus'/Yahshua's name."

I kept repeating the above until the next morning. Little did my husband know that I was praying that prayer. Towards day break, he actually had a dream.

He dreamt that little Josh was crying in agony somewhere underground. I walked over to that place which had steps going down, but before I even stepped on the ladder, a dragon carried little Josh out of that place & walked up the steps to hand Josh over to me.

When he relayed the dream to me, I said 'HalleluYAH! I've been praying this prayer without you knowing, and the dragon has delivered Josh to us. Praise God, the spiking temperature subsided for good.
